How do you keep the muffler shiny?

Question speaks for itself. My muffler is stainless steel or mirror finish, how can I maintain its shinyness.

You can treat your muffler the same way you treat your cars paint. I use to use glaze and polish to keep the muffler shiny. You can also use polish that is made for stainless steel but I think that the glaze and wax works better and gives you longer protection.

Cool, thanks, what brand do you use?

Meguires. Start off with #7 glaze and finish off with #26 wax or Meguires Gold. Use it on the whole car....

Thanks a lot. Will do that on my next car wash. :)

That stuff works really well, as does Klasse ALL IN One.

you guys use any scrub or car wash soap to get all that dirt and stuff off?

I use mother's mag polish.

Sounds like an ad.

My exhaust started burning off my bumper. I had a hard time scraping the stuff off, and there is still residue left from the paint/plastic. So I can't really focus on keeping my exhaust system shiny...LOL.. poor me has to focus on getting all the crap off first. :susp:
