Mothers Back to Black Trim Restorer

Anyone ever use this stuff? It says that it helps to restore all the exterior black trim (fading... etc..) back to black giving it a nice shine. Works great on vinyl, plastic, etc... I just need some feedback that's all. Does it work? Pros? Cons?

don't know about the mothers brand but i've read nothing but good things about a similar poorboy's trim restorer. should be good to use...

i use it on the trim pieces on the roof. and the rubber trim on the doors right by the window. Those are the only faded pieces on the car. Usually put that mothers shit on and then wax over it with Auto Magic's EZ paste.

i use mother's back to black, and it really helped. Every time i finish washing the car i would put this stuff on the trims and it worked. This stuff has worked for me :)

I had terrible results with it on my Focus...I applied it exactly as the bottle said to all the fading trim, and it looked good for a couple days until it rained...I went outside and there was big "oil spills" down the car below all the trim where the rain had washed the cleaner off. Needless to say, I was pissed, as that stuff was a bitch to get off of the paint.

i tried it on mine and it looked good for a few days, but after the rain the peices are now streaky unless i use a detailer on them. messed them all up. however i did work great on my grandfathers impala.
