Thanks - I did a 68 Dodge last week that came out awesome and I did a hyundai elantra on saturday with 70k miles that was all scratched up - it came out looking new. The owner was very happy.

Looks good!

Do you have any method for removing paint transfers? My car got scraped on a white pole, and every time I get my car detailed I still have this glaring paint transfer on the bumper.

civicdude 08-08-2005 11:58 AM

Yeah use compound....If you do not have a machine or access to one for self use, maybe one of your friends can help you out. Try using rubbing compound that is compatible with clear coat.....You should be able to get it off by hand.

How much do you usually charge to detail a car?

civicdude 08-08-2005 07:30 PM

A full detail inside And out I usually get $100 small car, $125 medium sized car, $150 big car, limo, SUV or truck

jesus tits, you did all that in 5 hrs ......damn, i wish i lived closer to you. You do one hell of a job

civicdude 08-08-2005 10:01 PM

Plus I did the interior

silverem2 08-08-2005 10:14 PM

hey, I used some rubbing compound to get some side scuff off and now its a little hazy around that area, the clear coat i believe is still there but when you look from an angle you can tell, is there a way to remove that or did i screw myself, I instantly regretted it after i did it

civicdude 08-09-2005 07:13 AM

Was the compound compatible with clearcoat? You can try to use Glaze, and then wax the area.
Hopefully that will work
