water spots in glass..... What can take out those pesky water spots I see in the windshield and all of the other windows. I tried wax but that was no good. Thanks for your help. |
Try a razor blade? I've had those before but I can't remember how I got them out. What type of wax did you use? If you have a hi-speed buffer and some cleaner wax they should come out. |
Use a really fine or chemical polish. Poorboy's Professional Polish works well. |
I just started getting those again. Its 90 out, and sunny as hell, so my car dries too fast when Im washing it. When its 120, its gonna dry in like 3 minutes. I hate summertime. Ill try a polish |
yea i use polish to get the water spots out...works great and when im driving it's so much more clear and the tracks where the wiper blades run gets cleaned out too! |

Clay works great on windows. I save my old clay to use on windows. |

i had some pretty bad waterspots (front windshield) and i used the clay bar, took them right out. |
Waterspots are caused by hard water. Try using a Mr Cleen Jet washer(since it has a PUR filter in it to get rid of the minerals in the water) this will give you soft water. For interior, just wash down a rag or shammy with the water and wipe them down. I bought one a couple of weeks ago, and it was well worth the 40 bucks I paid for the pro kit. |
