Best car wash product?

Can't decide on what to purchase for washing the car. I'm thinking about trying the new Poorboy's Super Slick & Suds product. Any reviews of this? What are some of the best products in the market right now?

Poorboys is a very good product, as well as meguiars car washes. I personally usually use QEW wash.

Meguires has been the only thing Ive used for about 8 years now..... with the exception of the tire dressing.....Ive had good luck with Black Magic.... It shines them up without leaving all that residue that flings off all over ur paint....plus it doesnt collect dust all over the tires...

hell yeah your right about that. i just wash and dryed my car wit an absorber and it does look like its polished. The armour stuff is okay did you buy the wax.

Try this it softens water so you wont get water spots, the conditioners give a good gloss, won't strip you wax and you get a half gallon for 6 bucks.

^^^ i gotta try that

Meguiares is good. But a new one that I'm also using that's works really good is Shining Monkey. Check out their products at www.shiningmonkey.com or purchase them cheaper at www.carsoption.com

Poorboy's is what I use now. We have given some detailers samples of Shining Monkey to use and they are loving it. For the price I woudl suggest Shining Monkey.

I use Eagle One Car Shampoo and it leaves a nice shine on my Black sedan :)

yupitsme 03-23-2005 03:57 AM

i use poor boys (bought from danase) i like it.

SmiteSwift 03-23-2005 12:42 PM

What MeguiarsEM said, I use that stuff and it works great, the suds will stand till the cows come home.

Mistro 03-26-2005 10:36 AM

Eagle One car wash

along with their spray on wet carwax.

I have to admint, the wax does do a pretty dam good job aswell for being a spray on.

I would probably go with the Mcguiars NXT Wash, but I just use cheap liquid dish soap once a week, and after drying wax with Mcguiars NXT, my car looks better than when i bought it brand new in August.

SmiteSwift 03-28-2005 08:26 AM

^^Yes dish soap will wash your car, but will completly strip off the wax every time. Personally I don't want to wax my car after every wash.

Get some Pinnacle Shampoo. The results with Pinnacle Souveran is amazing or Signature Series for the Metallic paints. Pricey but you get wat you pay for in the end.

Black car and souveran :_bow:

obguam 04-02-2005 06:47 AM

Dish soap also fades the rubber and plastic trim. NXT is my latest and its pretty darn good. I've been using Sonus shampoo and it leaves a slightly better glossy shine, but no suds.

I goto a couinwash, and whatever the stuff they use there is GRREEEAT. but as for finishing it off, Meguiars quick detail is awsome. ^_^
