Removing the "H" how do u remove the H honda emblim? with out the 2 little circle's? |
i think the 2 little circles will be their no matter what. you would prob have to mold it in their.. shouldnt cost too much i believe. but thats just my guess cause i wanted to do the same but was afriad of the 2 holes. |
I removed mine, and welded the holes up, then ground off the excess and went over with some body filler then spot glaze to fill the minor imperfections. |
just leave it on |
My friend took his out and put in some LED lights in the two holes. I thought it was going to be ricey as hell when he told me but his car was black and you could not even see the holes hardly and at night it looked pretty sweet lit up. |
if you're gonna take the H off...get a new H...honda power! |
lol i just want a nice clean shaved ASS :) lol how much would it cost to get it filled? the 2 holes? |
if you have to ask you cant afford it.. i was playin with mine and 2 lil led bulbs wired into the brake light look pretty sweet.. however i decided to stick with my H cuz 2 years of sun have left a lil shadow that i dont feel like trying to blend |
aw i c |
Cost was 100$ at the bodyshop... remove H ... filler/repaint/clear coat http://www.7thgencivic.com/memberrid...97rearzoom.JPG |
That came out good. A shop is charging me $200 to shave H and keyhole. |
eh i did it myself. most people dont have access to a spray gun though. |
only a couple hundred isnt bad. Im gonna call this guy, he does bumpers for 300, but 150 for us. So, maybe he'll hook me up on the trunk. He does an awesome job and only takes a few hours for a bumper. Much better than my maaco paint job :shake: I wanted the H gone for a long time, but never wanted to pay for something that small. But now I think I might, I need a grill painted anyways, so maybe he'll hook me up on the grill if I do the trunk. |
FaZe - is that black circle just from the camera, or is the color off? It is right where the H was, so Im just wondering what happened? Doesnt match or something? |
that looks nice...faze |
They're repainting my entire trunk and bumper so I might as well have done it. If you diy, it's not gonna match very well unless you have the right tools. |
