How to prep bodykit?

I plan to prep my bodykit. I need all the help from anyone who did this before. What sandpaper grit should i use, primer , etc. Also any websites would help too.

not for sure what it was but very fine almost seemed pointless but thats how to finalize the rest of the hard work

I would use any wet sand paper grit between 1000-1500

Here is a little tip. If you are taking it to a shop to paint let THEM do the prep work. If ANYTHING goes wrong with it they will not warrant the work because you were the one that did the prep work. If they hold the spray gun in one spot and make a huge run, that will end up being your fault just because they said. Just save a little more and let them do it.
