Can those brushless (spray only) car wash do any harm?

Can those brushless (spray only) car wash do any harm to my new 2004 EL?

If so, what kind of problem can they create if I wish to use it for a quick wash during the winter days or during those days I am feeling lazy?

THanks in advance

Some say that the high pressure can force the dirt to embed in your clearcoat but I have not experienced this. My friend owns one and I go through it all the time. I guess I just never ever let my car get dirty enough for this to happen. I will say that it will be better than road salt on your car though.

I trust the brushless ones a lot more than the things that spin... my black car has tons of lil scratches from those damn things....

why take this risk if your not sure if that particular brushless spray wash is safe or not? just take it to a self car wash and do it yourself, it shouldn't take more than a few minutes.

Just make sure that the one you go to has a clear coat protectant spray too so that you don't get the clearcoat eaten away by the harsh chemicals and then left unprotected. Its always good to give the car a good detail once in a good while though. My cars turning 1 year old this friday so im planning to give a full wash, clay, polish, wax.
