well how do yall wax ur car? do you wax ur car in a swirling motion? or do you wax it moving from left to right horizontally? i've read someone who posted left to right waxing because he said it will reduce da appearance of swirl marks..... well dat's BAD NEWS cuz i have been waxing my car for 3 times now in a swirling motion...... OH SH!T dont tell me im messing her paint up! follow up...... wut kind of car wax is da best and da most convenient(less maintainance) to get? |

Wash your car real good, dry it off...and get you some Meguiar's Cleaner Wax, and apply it using the spong it comes with. Let it set and dry for 5-10 minutes (in the shade) and wipe it off using circular motions with a dry terri cloth towel. That will hook you up. |
make sure it is in the shade, I have a friend who waxed his car and let it sit in the sun and he had the chip that crap off with a knife. |
Even though the manufacturer states to apply in a swirl motion, that is primarily a function of coverage and not so much the "BEST" method. I've been detailing cars for about 15 years now....and I can tell you that if your not skilled in dealing, then you can get bit by the "SWIRL BUG"..the best washing, polishing, and waxing motion is vertical movements, following the lines of your car. It is much more aggrevating, but helps against the "SWIRL BUG"...Peace! |
