lex990 03-17-2004 05:02 PM

anyone???

I always use a heat gun to take stickers off. I don't know if it will remove the sticky stuff, but if you use it to begin with, it works great.

dreamybabie 03-18-2004 12:07 AM

i used a credit card to peal off my stock pin stripe, works good, doesnt stratch the paint and gets the job done.......

goo gone/off will only damage your clear coat and paint.

be natural, use your nails... make sure your hands are clean. use a little warm water, not hot water.

Googone should be fine, just wax the area after. You probably don't have this, but Meguiar's clear coat body scrub is safe for paint and removes just about anything.

3m adhesive remover. Goo gone has been known to discolor paint.

GrayGhost 03-23-2004 02:37 PM

Any kind of adhesive remover. Just wash the car afterwards.

That is very incorrect, I used goo gone and it hurt nothing at all

Your kidding, right? :_doh: I would used some Automotive clear coat paint cleaner. It's gonna take a while depending on how long the emblems were on the car. Dont forget to apply some wax after your done. Worked for me.

Hey Meguiars, I know this is off topic, but how do you like the Tech Wax? I'm thinking about trying it. I have been using the gold class for a while. Do you think the Tech Wax is better? Thanks bro

it took me about a whole week just peeling, spraying water, and letting it dry. came off like a charm. it was long but it worked great! i see people around town with tape still on their car...its kinda funny...
