without spraying? water you mean?

well, i would advise you spray the car (with the doors/trunk closed obviously). while washing your car would be best for your convenience... water will seap through without getting in your interior. afterwards, take a sponge (one that's not used on the body... at leats that's what i do) soak it up a little bit with enough soap and water and get in those places. when you are done, use an absorber/terry cloth (not one used on the body... at leats that what i use :) ) and dry those area so you don't get dry spots or water marks.

i hope this answers your question...

Why do people type and make themselves look ignorant?

If you want to clean near DA hinges use some sort of a spray and wipe / quick detailer and as always, a microfiber towel.

If it is really dirty, I would take simple green diluted with water and spray it on a rag, or soak the rag in a bucket of simple green diluted with water, and then wipe down the door jam with the rag. After you wipe the door jam down with simple green, take a dry rag and wipe the jam down.

What I usually do is wax the door jams after I clean them...but I am a detailer, i dont expect you to do that.

I usually use Mequiars Qwik Detailer on a terry cloth
