Mr. Clean AutoDry System Has anyone seen this on T.V. it look's pretty cool, plus it's supposedly guaranteed spot free. Mr. Clean AutoDry What do you guy's think would you use it? It's $30 though! Here's a link to where you can buy it link |
I guess you use it for the car? I've heard about it. You put it on and it air dries with no spots. |
DAMN!! $30 thats expensive! Bleh......I'll just wash my car the old fashioned way :) |
I am thinking about trying that, I wouldnt mind not having to dry my car. |
well the whole system with the sprayer and junk is 30 bucks, then refills will probably be less, but if it works im buying it for sure i have the biggest problems drying my car |
Using filter technology from the makers of PUR water filters, Mr. Clean AutoDry Carwash removes water impurities, which can cause spots—even in hard water. So, $30 for a water hose handle with a water filter and some fancy soap?! Nice idea, but I don't think so. You'll probably see some other companies come along with something similar in a couple months and sell it cheaper at Wal-Mart™. I've messed with some similar devices that screw onto the water hose and pick up the soap in the handle. It's all fine until you try to rinse, then it's a bitch to get the soap residue to clean out so the water will rinse the car. Kinda like at the car wash...you have to wait for the soap to purge out of the line. I used it once or twice and finally threw it away. No substitute for a good hose gun and hand wash. Just get some good quality soap and DON'T USE DISH LIQUID. It'll strip the wax off the car. |
^^^ don't use detergent also! :nono: |
We sell it at Target for $19.99 and if you go to autodry.com you can get a $5 off coupon. So it might be worth trying out for $14.99 but you still have to scrub. So maybe not. Mike |
I always thought that the spots came from dust in the air sticking to the wet car. Last night i washed my car in the garage, and there are almost no spots on it. I washed it inside because it was like 0 out, this morning its -25, and its going to drop to -40 tomarrow and friday... |

yeah, i saw one of those at target during christmas and was curious also. but still, i'd rather use the absorber, and the water blade to dry my car. manually drying/washing gets down to the finish more than just blowing air/dirt off. also, i wouldn't want to keep buying refills every other week, etc... it's just another shortcut that really isn't in the long run. |
I just saw the commercial for this! It's gonna be warm tomorrow and I only have one class. Gonna go out and buy this tonight! |
