waxing a carbon fiber hood? Just wondering if it was ok to wax a carbon fiber hood, i didnt wax it yet cause im not sure about it, just waxed the rest of my car. |
what kind of clear coating is there on the hood. if its some shitty coating then dont wax cuz when u go back to remove wax. u might remove the clear coat too. |
go ahead and wax it man. u got the same hood i do..so yeah..its fine |
use non abrasive wax too. or else ull see hella swirls |
alright, thanks for the info. |
No problem. Heheh. |
no problemo mi amigo |
3m hand glaze |
nah.. meguairs gold class bitch.. shine like a mofo. |
gold class is over rated |
Though it maybe overrated, it's styll good. |
word |
You can try Mother's too. They're pretty good. Slightly cheaper than Meguir's, been using them and no problems fer me. |
go with meguiars... cant go cheap on show stuff |
thanks for the info |
go buy some already. instead of pwhoring |
3m hand glaze is awesome stuff or you can use mothers sealer glaze, or you can use meguires glaze. As for wax I would agree that meguires is over rated. I would go with kit, or gliptone creme wax. Stay away from cleaner waxes or anything with abrasives in it. |
meguiars is not cheap in price for a reason youll get good results i always have |
gold class does make dark colors deeper, but thats only til the first drops of water hit it :) Zaino forms a nice layer of protection, but doesn't have oils so it doesn't darken and richen a dark color... Mothers is in-between the 2... That's my observation when I had a black S2000... I tried each of them to compare them... |
