attn clay bar users: I was going to try to use a soap/water mix instead of the bottle of quick detailer packaged with the clay bar. do I wipe the soap/water mix off (similar to quick detailer) or do I rinse the mix off? |
you rinse off the whole car when you are done claying...then you re soap the whole car down to remove the excess clay you missed...then hose and dry. |
I just bought the clay bar and used it my car feels so damn smooth. I dont know if I used it right so can someone tell me the exact and best ways to use the clay bar with and can I use some other stuff to spray once I run out of the spray lube that came with it   |
the spray lube is just some quick detailer stuff. Nothing major. For clay bar use, just like waxing the car. But spry the liquid, rub the bar move onto another section. Wash the car and your done. |
hey! where do you get these clay bars? |
u can buy em online... i've seen them at murray's auto stores... they sold em for $12.99 around here... |
it was meguiars with the quick detailer... there was also another brand but i forgot the name, the package was blue i think... |
you can also get them at autozone, advanced autoparts, some walmarts. Just about anywhere that detail equipment is sold |
when i go to the autozones around my area, they dont have em... i guess its at select automotive stores... |
like everyone said...you can buy them online....just goto www.google.com and do a search for clay bars. You will find many sites that sell them. |
