clay magic is just as good if not better. I have both, and i prefer the clay magic, its a 100 g bar compared to an 80 g bar from mothers. Price differnece, clay magic is about 10 bucks with tax, the mothers kit is usually 14 or 15 bucks. Also, for a lubricant, use some car wash shampoo mixed with water(preferably distilled since it doesn't leave spots on the finish), save your quick detailer for in between waxing instead of wasting the bottle on claying. One last thing, wash your car afterwards, no matter what, it needs to be washed bc of the clay residue on the finish. I hope this helps.

Clay Magic is better....3m is the best and clay magic is second...I dont like to use mothers or meguires clay unless I am really desperate and cant find 3m or clay magic anywhere

You can only use clay bar 3 times? What?

I thought you could use it like 20+ times before it turns pitch black?

I think this is my first time posting in this forum...lol

When I used my clay bar last time, I polished and waxed right after it. I did not rinse and it was okay?

Do I really need to rinse after claybaring my car? I am showing at Nopi this weekend and am doing the whole wash/clay bar/polish/wax thing tomorrow night. Thanks...

Is it ok for me to clay then rinse and then do the 3 step process. Is that the way to do it

I have the same questions ???

i washed dried really good, 1st used the bar w/ the detailing stuff thats included, and wiped off 3 sq ft at a time. 2nd used the wax 3sq ft at a time again, let it dry a bit, then wiped off. i did not rinse after it looked good. You can then go back with the detailing, and wipe the car down w/ it to have it shiny for the show then.

TOOLOWCIVIC 09-23-2003 01:36 AM

Yeah but Im asking if I clay then rinse can I go ahead and do the 3 step process or not   I know I can just wax after I clay but I need to do the 3 step also.
