PowerToGo buffer??? Hey, I was cleaning out my garage today and found this thing that looks like an electric buffer. It has a soft white wool circular pad at the bottom and spins when I turn it on. here's the newbie question, I don't know what it's used for? Can I use it to apply wax? What is it used for? |
Yup...it's for waxing bro....! or even sanding! If it's a soft wool, then I'm pretty sure it's for waxing/buffing! |
So I just apply some wax on my car and use that to spread it around? |
To take it off. |
Oh, so I have to apply wax by hand? and only use the buffer to take off the wax? |
Yep. |
A wool pad is used ONLY for removing defects! It is the most aggressive pad you can use on paint. Trust me if you use this to remove or apply wax you will get seriuos swirls. Wool is used as a cutting pad to apply swirl removers and compouns, only on cars with serious defects! If you don't believe me go to meguiars and email them and ask them. Please don't use this on your car. |
