Re: stage 2 or stage 3 crower cam don't forget the valve retainers |
Re: stage 2 or stage 3 crower cam Valve train is already upgraded with heavier springs and retainers. if i can get my hands on a stage 3 cam, i'm going to go over sized valves. |
Re: stage 2 or stage 3 crower cam you can delete this post if you need to. I found a stage 3 cam! |
Re: stage 2 or stage 3 crower cam There is a section for custom cams on Crowers site. They probably still have the files to create a camshaft if you ask. Buying one used is a risk since they look nearly identical to the OEM. If the lobes are longer than it will be easy to tell but if they are the same height and don't open the valves any deeper, only for a longer duration, then it might be hard to tell if you bought a legit stage 2/3camshaft. |
Re: stage 2 or stage 3 crower cam The individual sent over a boat load more pictures for me to look at. It looks good, and it's stamped on the end of the cam. Hopefully it's legit. It's supposed to be in today so i'll take a look at it tonight or tomorrow... |
Re: stage 2 or stage 3 crower cam the lobes are hellava lot larger!!!! |
