SRS Light

The SRS light came on after hitting a bump, am I going to have to replace the sensor or is there a way to reset it.

What's the code?

Some codes must be erased manually.
Other codes might go away when the problem is corrected.
Deployment codes cannot be erased, you must have the control unit replaced.

There must be a valid reason for the light to come on.
Maybe you just like replacing random parts without knowing what the problem really is?

Keep an eye on things, that doesnt mean its fixed. It just means there are no faults at this time.

Yeah, this. I wouldn't ****ed around with an SRS light too much. Next time it comes on get the code read. Don't think a normal OBDII reader can grab 'em (i.e. no dangerzone action) Gotta go to dealer or a shop that has an advanced reader. Look for a local shop that specializes in hondas or japanese cars as it might be code read. I'd just go to the dealer if it were me. Kinda value my life and all.

Mine came on and I think there was a recall on the seat belt latch mechanism so free repair from dealer. YMMV.
