Head gasket kit - mystery parts

I'm doing the head gasket on my 2005 Civic, 1.7L DX auto trans. In the head gasket kit there were these 16 little bushing-like parts that have rubber O-rings attached. 8 to a pack. Also a single tiny O-ring, maybe 1/4" in diameter. I don't remember taking these off. Does anybody know what these are and where they go? Thanks.

Don't remember taking these out, came in a head gasket kit. 05 1.7L.
