Electrical fire issue 01 lx coupe
 

I just purchased a 01 coupe lx manual and the passenger side headlight had caught fire and burnt up the harness , my question is 1. Why did this happen? and 2. I have a 03 auto coupe Parts car, could I swap the harness from the auto to the manual or Either chop the harness and just use the front portion to fix the melted harness on the manual coupe. I was told he had just bought some cheaper headlight assembly’s and some cheaper bulbs and installed them prior to this happening , the car runs fine drives , no check engine light, just some exposed wires at the passenger headlight.

what are the specs on the cheap bulbs that were installed?

UPDATE: I have swapped the harnesses and replaced the fuse box as it was half melted from the fire , I got low beams and high beams but no signals at all on the dash I don’t have any signal indicators either what could this be?
