O.T. TALL SHIPS
 

As some of you may know Steveston is hosting the TALL SHIPS FESTIVAL, in August.
I live right at the end of 2 road by the ocean and one has already arrived.
Damn those things are huge and amazing.................if you live in Van you gotta check it out!!!

hey, have u seen it with it's sails down yet? i went on saturday and i saw it up close (nippon maru) but is didn't have it's sails down... the guy there told me that it looks much better that way..

I've only seen it with the sails down, I wanted to see it with them up. It has lights on it that are lit up at night....looks very cool too!

yeah they were in Boston when i was there a few summers ago... really cool...

When is this event over? cuz i wanna go and see it too. seen it on the news and stuff (obviously not in the paper cuz they're freakin' on strike! :tdown: ) Not really into boats and stuff but it looks really neat! [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]
