Who's Got black headlights....??
 

And did you guys have clears before that....Cause I was wondering if it would be hard to open a resealed headlight to paint it black...if anyone has done this let me know....and comment on how easy or hard the job wuz....and some pointers would be nice....and I mean if someone wants to help me do it...I would greatly appreciate it...and hook them up with something or other...

i did mine....it's not that hard..

man i'm not even gonna try and open my SEDAN headlights if i think of doing them black then i'm just gonna get a set of Coupes lights.

i have black housing on coupe..matches silver really good.!

i do'nt want to messs with any stock stuff since it will be apain when selling the car to get another set =(

cool...what sort of paint do i need to get...and how do I make sure I dont get paint on the main part of the headlight.....help would be great...and any pointer you guys could give me....thanks in advance:tup:

I got my paint from canadian...it's just black~ ..

The chrome part of the headlight is removeable from the rest of the lighting portion. That's how 1028 can *just* paint the black part.

I'm going to do my lights this weekend. As for the paint, I was thinking about just go to Can Tire. But what kind of paint specifically.
Should I use a primer, clearcoat, etc. Any details would be great.

Get automotive paint, don't trust Crap Tires.

i went to crappy tire and got engine matte paint
it worked really good...

....what about the paint colour from honda dealership? the colour that would match your car?? think that would work?

if you wanna do black housing just use paint from crappy tire, don't go buying fancy stuff, thaz what i did...

nice nice....okay finaly question....do u guys think it will be hard if I try to re-open them...I've already relesealed them already....so I dunno....

no not really... because i had to re-open one of them cuz it started to condense from the inside... didn't seal it properly the first time....
