Got TINT?

I finally did, and let me tell you. The shop that did mine, they rock! Its a place called Winners Tint, located in Rockville, MD, right off of E Gude drive. They are the only shop in MD that do laser cutting. Included is a lifetime warranty against fading, cracking, peeling, scratching, bubbling, and whatever else may happen. (unless your dog or friends clawed at it and they were able to notice. I can hook you all up with a 10% discount as well, which may not sound like much, but it helps out a whole lot! So whomever is in need of window tinting, this is the place. Ill be up at Rockville friday nite if anyone wants to come up and take a look at the tint work. I just got it done last nite. Real big improvement. Rims are next for me. Im out.

4bangin 10-09-2003 08:27 PM

ya damn 120 is cheap also. i paid 200 for mine, 30% all around, life time warrenty on everything, done in 2 hours. goes to the top of every window, no gap at all, and behind the 3rd brake light. very good job, but i feel i paid to much :(

Silversleeper 10-09-2003 09:32 PM

Well, I cant really compare our tint, maybe fri nite, but my tint isnt even ready yet, its only a day old. But My total came to $134.50. 20% all around. Also, this shop uses the best quality tint. 3M stuff, ya kno? And its laser cut, so perfect and accurate. most of you guys cant argue with that.

maxsin 10-09-2003 09:43 PM

I am in Cali and i paid 200 even. Lifetime on all that plus they gave me a card that if i do any damage to any window they will redo the tint for free, only once though. My tint is silverish, titanium tint? Clean lines and nice color.

Braydogg 10-09-2003 09:49 PM

I have tint but Va tint laws suck mad nizzuts......I used to have 5% on the back and side rear windows and 25% on the sides....when I was in colorado... then I moved back here and the law wasnt liking that ... now my damn tint is so light.... I cant creep no more :(... its all good though !!

debbz 10-11-2003 10:52 AM

damn i paid $225 for back sides and front. i dont feel bad tho i like the work and i know many people who have got tint there so id rather know theyre good then take a chance on payin less n not gettin good quality! :)

ssmshortie 10-11-2003 07:16 PM

i paid 149 right after i bought the car, i mite get my tint redone cause that shop closed down and i gota crack in the tint on my rear window blah i want it darker

RSDCivic 10-12-2003 09:27 PM

I got mine done when I moved down to Texas this summer... got it done for 110 with lifetime warranty... glad I waited otherwise I woulda paid a s**t load more if I did it here in VA

Braydogg 10-13-2003 12:11 AM

Thats what ticks me off about Va.....You pay a grip for little tint shade....oh they can make it darker ..... but you have to deal with johnnie poe-poe (da man)......The law needs to change I figure!!! bastages!!!!

ssmshortie 10-13-2003 08:02 AM

i wanna get my tint redone but its gona call for mad money isnt it?

Civictuner04 10-13-2003 02:01 PM

I got mine done for $140 at a place in Laurel, MD. Great job, stuck to all the dot matrix cept the ton above the rear window. Lifetime warranty. Got 20% all round and aint had any trouble with the cops.

Braydogg 10-13-2003 02:18 PM

yeah but thats in maryland.......Va cops are harsh !!!!

ssmshortie 10-13-2003 03:33 PM

grrr this sucks, i want it kinda darker than wut i have right now though

Civictuner04 10-13-2003 08:51 PM

yeah ur right. MD cops r pretty lax specially in howard county

Silversleeper 10-13-2003 11:57 PM

scott, 20% all around, should not cost more than $140. i got mines for $134.50. goood shit. laser cut, lifetime warranty on anything.

armieo 10-17-2003 01:40 PM

got mine for $160 knife cut good material but like a 3 mm gap on the drivers and passenger window. nutz. NUTZ!

if i get the back peeled off and redone.... the defroster lines will stop working huh?

Braydogg 10-17-2003 10:30 PM

well armieo... My defroster lines work well.....after the retinting....they'll use a heat gun to take it off...should have a problem if they are done right.

Not Sure About PA But NJ and MD will fail you for having tint over your 3rd Brake light

I did mine my damn self. I paid $24. . . . I don't give a fart cuase everyone's gonna say it sucks and it won't last and it has bubbles. But it don't have bubble, and if i have to replace it in 2 years I STILL SPENT LESS THAN YOU

No offense to all the haters i'm j/k

And SSMshortie... I had no trouble tearing tint off my probe to pass inspection. Just use a heat gun on a warm day in the sun, and go with the defrost lines. Use goof off to get the goo off

skyblue 10-19-2003 07:31 PM

I've got 15% all around...it cost me about $120. It looks real good and i haven't had any peeling or problems :-)
