RSX means ?? Do any of you RSX drivers know what the RSX abreviation stands for ? |
It stands for nothing. Acura changed all their cars over to letter names like all other luxury car companies in america. The RSX is still called Integra in Japan. |
Isn't it called the Honda Integra in Japan? |

He didn't state whether it was Acura Integra or Honda Integra. Just that it was Integra. |
There is no "Acura" in japan, everything is just Honda. |

That's what I thought |
yep: Just like Lexus none of that over there |
toyota altezza :) |
If you find out what NSX stands for......the RSX wouldn't be that difficult. Usually RS stands for Rally Sport, the X could mean....Rally Sport Extreme or Rally Sport Cross. X usually means Extreme or Cross. Such as GSX = Grand Sport Cross, WRX or WRC = World Rally Cross, GS-T = Grand Sport Turbo, GT-S = Grand Touring Sport. |
nice bit of info man |

It could be, front wheel drive can be rally car. Why do you think Camero, Eclipse and other cars have "RS" emblem and models? RS definiately stands for "Rally Sport" or sometimes I call it "Really Slow" since RS re always the lower grade models |
RS could also mean racing sport |
possible, but not quiet. Cuz Type-R stands for type racing already. Type-S stands for type sport. well in Japan, it's Honda integra. RSX retires Integra here, and it's a lower grade of Acura compares to NSX. Most Acura cars got 3 or 2 letters, NSX, MDX, RSX, TSX, CL, TL and RL. I wonder if they just made something up there. |
then whats EX, LX, HX, DX, Si, and SiR stand for? |
when the nsx was a concept it was called "project x" so i think that where it came from. |

Originally posted by R3DL1N3 then whats EX, LX, HX, DX, Si, and SiR stand for? SiR = Sport Inspired Racing as for the others, I have no clue |

Rally Sport Extreme sounds the most logical to me, but I highly doubt it. I was told my old (sob) Honda CBR 900RR bike stood for "Race Ready"... along with about 100 other things. All I know is that the the RSX Type R = sweet and that Honda/Acura North America is not quite that cool thou. |
