LOOK ANOTHER FAST AND FURIOUS CAR !!!!

CIVIC OVER 43,00 INVESTED

GOTSPRINGROLLS 02-10-2003 01:17 PM

what ur point? i like it. looks clean and nice.

theguysmiley 02-10-2003 01:19 PM

I'm sorry, but $43,000 being put into a Civic is just dumb. Plus, those don't look like $43,000 worth of mods (I could be wrong though).

4bangin 02-10-2003 01:30 PM

that car is pretty bad ass, except for the fact that they said there is NOS in it and yet it is Nitrous Express not NOS. and i dont think it is actually from the movie cause usually they say this car was in the movie than they have a pic of universal studios slip thing. i could be wrong tho.

Lianjie 02-10-2003 01:31 PM

well seeing how its an si, he probably bought it off the lot for little over 20 grand, correct me if im wrong.. then all that means is 20K+ more in mods.. which is the turbo, rims, body kit, tv, seats, engine mods, ps2, and all that other customizing

slikor 02-10-2003 01:32 PM

First of all, I dont see evidence of those mods, plus the cost of the car, equaling some $43k, second, it was a bad call to reference "The Fast and the Furious" so much, and thirdly, how does it have "Tokico Premium Shocks Front and Rear" yet also has "TEIN Suspension" and the TEIN EDFC--if it had Tokico struts and TEIN springs, it couldnt use the TEIN EDFC so wtf?:susp:

However, it does look pretty nice, and I like the red & black interior...the outside is relatively clean and overall its a nice car I'd say.

neeedforspeeeeed 02-10-2003 01:33 PM

a little sketchy but not too shabby
IMO looks pretty good

zetaR 02-10-2003 01:36 PM

The $43,000 remark seems kind of high, but I would assume they're figuring in the original price of the car along with the mods. That would make it a little more believable, especially if they paid someone else to do all the work on it.

It doesn't say that the car is worth $43,000 or that it has $43,000 in mods. It just says that $43,000 has been invested.

RedDragon333 02-10-2003 02:02 PM

i wouldnt buy it but its real clean and it looks damn good!

Jon 02-10-2003 02:11 PM

it looks pretty clean but i would never buy that car

Logan 02-10-2003 02:11 PM

djmota 02-10-2003 02:13 PM

clean car. how much did his vtec cost?
listing stuff like vtec and power sunroof ect. is just silly fluff.

JohnnyLee 02-10-2003 02:18 PM

Nice car:)

gotti 02-10-2003 02:59 PM

I like that car a lot. Looks really good.

TeLLy 02-10-2003 03:11 PM

43 g's? Holy crispy crap! What, does it come with a full-time import model to stand next to it at all times? No? Then I don't want it. Looks real nice tho.

Sweetpants 02-10-2003 04:05 PM

its nice to see a nice clean car

netcbc 02-10-2003 05:28 PM

turbo + nitrous + tein suspension = lots of money

still wouldnt pay a dollar for it.

XxSoVeReiGNxX 02-10-2003 05:42 PM

Stop flaming the seller. Which of you would actually use the excuse for buying the car "because it has $43g in mods".
A car like that, you'll probably want to buy it because it's different and better (if you like that stuff). It has more options and what not.

Who here went to the dealership and said, "I want a Civic EX because it is $5000 more than the DX!" No one. You probably bought an EX because of it's extra options, better performance, and other reasons (like having more money to spend). Not simply because it is $5000 more than the DX.

"$43g in mods" is only there to attract customers. It maybe true, but it may not be. So what? The seller is trying to be smart, and catch some guppies. Just because you see what the seller's trying to do doesn't mean you should flame him for his tactics.

ok? :_doh:

xXweezerXx 02-10-2003 06:15 PM

i gotta admit the car does look clean...but 43,000 dollars in mods???!?!?!! i dont think i would ever put that much money into moddin a car!

iluvbritney 02-10-2003 06:19 PM

more like 43 dollars

Well, besides the fact that there are three pedals, it could easily have been left in gear. I think its a nice clean car. I'd buy it.

dragoon 02-10-2003 07:20 PM

I would say something like $25000, including the price of a new SI.

TylerH26 02-10-2003 07:40 PM

i love where the two little white gauges are

TaNtRuMsBeRm 02-10-2003 11:54 PM

gets my thumbs up. nicely put together. maybe if he got some timeslips he could get more bidders. but yeah his suspension setup confuses me. but why konigs? theyre decent rims but u figure this guy put so much into everything else he would get a set of spoon, mugen, volks, advans or racing harts.

bluelight 02-11-2003 01:59 AM

it's nice looking...but no way i'd buy it

zetaR 02-11-2003 08:11 AM

Everyone keeps saying "$43,000 in mods". I don't see anywhere where it says that it has $43,000 in mods. The exacts words are "Over $43,000 spent on this rocket". That could very well include the price of the car, along with the mods, along with the labor, and then it starts to make more sense. They're not lying about how much money was originally spent, just being a little shady, making you think the car has $43,000 in mods.

boost2k1 02-11-2003 10:12 AM

i thought those were 5th gen civs in the movie

S2000man01 02-11-2003 01:19 PM

They were 5th gen civics.

HondaGuru 02-11-2003 06:12 PM
