Well, look at Mercedes... and even BMW... maybe even Toyota.. all their cars look alike.... especially mercedes. you have small, medium or large :) (C,E,S class)

The Infiniti G coupe and sedan are based on the same platform as the 350z. This new Maxima looks like a cross between the Altima and the 350z.

It will never happen... Nissan is not stupid enough to completely ruin one of their best selling cars. It can't be real... its FAR too ugly.

Wow, that looks just like a Saturn Ion from the side ...nobody else thinks so?

Saturn Ion with a hybrid 350z/Altima front. That's gotta be one of the ugliest cars Nissan came up with. Where is that car supposed to fit in terms of market niche? Altima already replaced Maxima as the main midsize. Nissan's screwin up.

i love maxima's, but i have no clue what to think of this "thing".
go to nissan's website to see more pics, the interior looks nice, and features are the same as entry level luxury cars, which leads me to believe that the price of this car is going to be high, $26K+ or so.
the engine is the same VQ series 3.5L V6 currently used, but with 265HP and 255 ft TQ. available 6 speed manual, 5 speed auto with manual mode, and 4 speed auto. 2 models, SL and SE, no more GXE or GLE. other standard and optional equipment include ABS with brake assist and electronics brake force distribution, 18" rims, dual exhaust, rear heated seats, skyview roof, electronic folding exterior mirrors, power tilt and telescoping steering wheel, 8 speaker 320watt bose system, and some more stuff.

i gotta see one in person before i judge.

Aesthetically, it looks cheap.:shake: I do not hate the design, but I do think it needs some improvements to enhance its flagship appearance. Too bland.

I think it is ugly. I don't like the grill setup and the badging is too pronounced. That car is the result of a sketch that shold have been confetti and a clay model that should have been a clay pot.

damn, am i the only one that noticed the big @ss wheel gap in the front.....and how little the wheel gap is in the back....that car is just ugh!!!!

FYI, this car IS real. Seen it today at the LA Auto show... its way nicer in person, very quality oriented
