Is it possible they just used a Ford wheel? Edit - oops, I just saw that the donor car is indeed a Ford Escort.

They said it looks like it's hovering due to wheel placement, which is true... the seem to be close together... I wonder if it would tip over if you turned too fast.

the key word there is fast, you'd have to be going fast in order to turn fast, so i don't think you have to worry about it tipping. i'm wondering if you could fit a nice big fat engine in there and fix it up and race it. that would be the coolest.
