K24 chugging after warming up **Fixed**

I have a 03 Honda CRV K24 4x4. I know its not a civic but maybe someone that has dealt with K24s might know something about this issue. The car drives great when it first starts up but once the engine gets up to temp the car start chugging if you step on the gas pedal. The most I can get the car up to is 45mph. If you give it 1% throttle you can slowly get up to speed but any more and it chuggs and the whole car starts jerking back and forth.

It has codes:
P1166 (O2 sensor) already replaced that but didn't fix the issue
P1259 (vTec)
P1298 (ELD) Electronic load detector. Ordered it and will replace it tomorrow.

***FIXED***

I fixed the issue by doing an oil change and replacing the vtec gasket/filter and now it runs great.

Maybe try unplugging the O2 sensor and see if the car drives more normal.

Yikes that’s one seriously clogged vtec screen.

Sounds like you may be in limp mode after the engine warms up due to the VTEC code. Did you clean or replace the screen?
