P2240 -> p2631 Hi all, I'm having trouble with a check engine light that won't go away. A couple months ago I had a P2240 code come up indicating a Bank 2, Sensor 1 oxygen sensor issue. I replaced it with a Bosch, any everything ran fine, no codes...for maybe 3 weeks. Now I have another code (P2631) indicating another issue with the same Bank 2 Sensor 1 oxygen sensor. Since it's new I don't think it's the sensor itself, and I've followed the wiring and it looks okay (most of it is in a plastic sheath). The car runs relatively fine, and it seems to get okay gas mileage, although I think it's getting less miles/tank before this all started. I'm worried that this will lead to a catalytic converter problem later if I keep ignoring it. Any ideas or troubleshooting tips I could try to narrow the issue? Thanks. 2005 Honda Accord EX V6 3.0L |
Re: P2240 -> p2631 a) this is a civic forum not an accord forum so you may not get much help. b) the correct sensor is Denso or NTK not Bosch. Honda's don't like Bosch |
Re: P2240 -> p2631 Throw that sensor away and get an NTK or Denso then see if the problem is still there. |
