CRV overnight battery drain

We have a 2007 CRV (original owner) with no modifications. It’s been a very good vehicle-372,000 kms.
A few years ago we noticed you can’t leave anything on for more than a few minutes without draining the battery.
Battery was changed every 4-5 years. Very Weak start in cold weather. An Electrical System check by Honda & an independent garage stated-No issues.

I read some & got a multimeter.

CRV Tested as Follows:
-CRV off for over 1 hour, everything off, key removed, doors closed
-Battery tested to have 12.3 Volts
-With Neg clamp removed approx a 700 mA draw was measured
-Engine Compartment Fuse Box-removed all relays/ fuses 1 at a time
-Fuse 23 removed-meter read O.000
A Brief check of various systems found that only the radio wasn’t working with fuse 23 removed.

Set this up again but after connecting your meter just walk away for about 15 minutes, see if draw current lowers as control units 'go to sleep'

Several items in the car share fuse 23 ("back up"), but completely unplugging the radio might be a check you can do

Ok
I left the vehicle to sit for over an hour so various modules would “sleep” and then tested the battery & fuses. Isn’t that what’s recommended?

Depends on how you did it.
Modules can 'wake up' when battery is disconnected then reconnected, so if you didn't already have your meter connected in series beforehand you could end up with a false reading.

Interesting you say that. As I was testing I could hear something working in the dash occasionally.
I’ll repeat the test.
