record breaking youtube stock block d-series
 
serached all over youtube couldnt find a video of a stock block d-series over 268hp...i have a d17a2 bone stock except for a stage 3 cam and i made 282hp 212tq@15psi on a mustang dyno....check out the video and let me know what you guys think

sorry but thats not "record breaking"

edit: so ur block/head is completely stock aside from a stage 3 cam. no springs/retainers? no arp rod bolts or head studs? somehow, i find it hard to believe.

oo, i wanna see that kpro map too.

I hope you have rod bolts in their cause the stock rod bolts start stretching at 12 psi and it is only a matter of time before you lose a rod

watched the vid. Seemed pretty cool but im with HLC seems pretty hard to believe......assuming you don't have springs/retainers or anything else that goes along with a cam like that. But props if you can run that with almost no probs. btw im new to the forum

lol that is DEFINITELY not record breaking...

and u cannot call that motor stock when u have stage3 cams.


there are members here who have achieved 400+ hp on the D17 engine.
