Where the civic ranks in insurance costs

Just saw on the news that the Honda Civic Coupe comes in at number 6 as the most expensive cars to insure. WTF. How did that happen. Any thoughts or comments. I had no idea. http://www.xceedspeed.com/forums/ima...les/icon27.gif

The Honda Civic is one of the most stolen cars in the united states theyre easy to break into, easy to steal and easy to get rid off, for either parts or as a whole, because theres alot of them out there, and theres a lot of people wanting one

Yeah.. I was shocked when my insurance agent said my Civic's insurance would cost more than the fully loaded V8 Grand Cherokee that I got rid of. Go figure.......

At our insurance company it was very low, but the 2000 si we were looking at was more than a V8 mustang

look i have a way to get really cheap insurance (i no cause i had it dun to my 2k1 vic and 99gsx) its kinda shady but it works...
1) make fake marrige cert
2)make like u got 3 kids
3)use address of some1 u no that lives in a nice neighborhood

my grl just sold her old Si and got a 2002 bmw 330xi she used my tricks now she is only payin 2,200 a year for full coverage. so i guess it wouldn't cost that much for a civic.

and if u r scared they might catch u dun worry..once they issue the insurance card u r insured. if they find out later then cancel it and do it agian with another company...of they try to scare u with lawsuits they didn't do a good background check on u b4 they issued the insurance...i no its shady but insurance prices are off the hook....wut can i say.

you go to jail...it's called insurance fraud and is a felong meaning over 1 year of prison time plus all fines...plus you are liable in civil court for the torts of fraud and misrepresentation and contract claims

mine is a little under 1800/year on my dads policy for full coverage and im 20 with less than 3 years driving (but no tickets/accidents). we made sure they knew about all the safety features and that its on the list of the top 5 safest cars of all time, and that it has the immobilizer system that the older civics didnt have

Mine only costs $100 a month and we get three months free a year, full coverage.
