Yeah, I bought the kit from my honda dealership for $750 out the door. |
oh man it looks good. dangit..i love that eclipse tooo hahahahaha sweet  |
Very nice, like the wheels too:tup: |
That is soooo sweet looking. Do you have any other pictures of the wing on it. I was thinking of getting one but wasnt sure how it looked. Thanks Crashoveride |
hurry up and get the wing done greg! |
That looks hard as hell , looks nice and clean with the OEM kit, how long did it take u to put on im thinking about the oem kit but want to know if its difficult to put on |
Looks sweet:tup::tup: What did you drop your car with:eek::eek: |
VERY NICE!!! But, here's one vote to leave the wing off. Really lifts the ass-end of the car up which is not as attractive IMHO. Of course, I am an old bastard, so what do I know? :) That color is very similar to my old car... I really loved that color. How do you like that gold? http://www.waynewmedia.com/images/cl-s_01.jpg |
looks nice man, i was lookin at the kaminari wing for my car as well, hows the install? would it just go right over where my oem one is now or do i have to drill 4 more holes to put it on there? and how much did you buy it for? |
looks good dude |
Voiceofid I'm going to try to have the wing done by this weekend but my paint man has been so busy that he hasnt had time. StLVtec I worked on it for about 2 hrs. I got the instuction from Honda. Real easy to put on and I did it alone. TOOLOWCIVIC I have 2" progress springs CivicPunker17 I have not installed the wing yet. It will cover the factory holes but I dont know if it will use them to mount. |
That looks really sweeet man!! The kit looks better than I thought! Only problem, is my dealer told me 1500! Also love the Kaminari wing! Keep up the good work!:) |
Greg-your car looks great. Now you've got me thinking about the OEM body kit. I think I'll search for a DIY. |
OK no DIY...How does it go on. Snap? Screws? Give a little detail for me. Thanks. |
damn that's tight, the OEM kit is the best kit out for this car |
The front has 5 bolts under the car, 2 screws in each fender well and 3m tape along the top. The rear goes on the same. The sides have 2 things that stick with 3m tape to the car and the side skirt slides down in it and then it has 4 bolts under the car that hold it and one screw in the fender well. It was really easy to put on. |
Your car looks great, very nice taste. I like it without the wing, but I'll guess it'll look different painted. Good job, I have the oem sideskirts and I can't wait to get the front and back. Redsands |
Tell you the truth the I don't think that wing will look bad on your car. I've never liked those wings but I think it'd look good on your car. |
Sorry this is off topic but how do you put pics and links in your signature? Redsands |
I cant decide if I'm going to keep the wing or sell it. I like it with the wing at some angles but then at some angles I dont like it. I want a wing but this is the only one I like so I dont know what to do. |
I am not a fan of wings of any kind, especially the big ones, but it doesn't look bad dude. I think the OEM kit looks really nice. I might get that for my car someday. (wishful thinking) |
I think the OEM kit is the best one out now simply because it's the only one that's not overdone. Very nice, very good taste. Just my $0.02 |
looks good :tup::tup: but honestly I think you should go with the factory wing or no wing at all. Something looks similar here http://content.communities.msn.com/_...6-1624_IMG.JPG :):):) |
Greg.......Did you ask the dealer how much they would charge to install? My dealer told me $1500. Kit and install...... Does that sound right? Or do I have sucker written all over me? (I havn't gotten it yet):susp: |
