Civic Em1 Em2 Hey, I got a dumb question. Does anyone know what the Em1 and Em2 means? thanks |
ohhhh....... |
EM2 is 7th gen coupe and ES2 is 7th gen sedan. |
Oh....it comes from the VIN# if you look at your vin you will see in in the middle somewhere, since I have a coupe it says ***EM2***********. |
Ok, so If I have a 03 Sedan can I buy a sway bar that that say Civic Em2? |
no cause the civic coupe is em2, the civic sedan is es2, so you would want one that says es2 on it |
Well that sucks, does anyone know where to buy a front sway bar for an es1? |
you mean es2:lol: :_doh: , you have an 03, which is 7th gen hence the name of the site |
Lol I know I have a 7th gen. I need to know where to buy the sway bar for an "7th gen" sedan |
es1 is without the 1.7 witout vtec (dx, lx) and the es2 is with vtec (ex). Am I correct? |
yes i beleive you are sir, em2 is our chassis code. do they make sway bars for the sedans? well some things will port over from em2 to es1,es2 like you can use the same front strut bar, and things like that, but a rear sway i dont think will work. |
it wont matter if he's getting a sway bar---or really anything IMO |
get the dc5 sway bar. |
