Hello, everyone ok i plan on buy a set of tires soon, for my konig tantrums. If I lowered my 02 civic coupe with 225-40-18 tires would i rubb, are bottom out?? What size tires do you guys have on your 18? Thanks

what is the offset for your rims?

225 would probably rub a little bit, for 45 offset 215 is just right size

Id say get 215/35/18's thats what i was going to get, but now im selling my 18's cuz i don't wanna have to spend 580 bucks every 8 months for new tires

If the off set is 42 or higher it wont rub but its going to look like a truck with the tires so big {40} Get 215-35-18 you will be happy.

215/40/18 closest to stock and smoother ride than 35.

215/40/18 are the way to go.......smoother ride.........bulge a little to protect rims from
sidewalk scratches when you accidently hit the curb...

yea, id find some 215/40/18.........
my 35 series are too low pro.......
and depending on how many miles you drive dakker they shouldnt wear out that quick........depends what tire you get,,,,,,
my parada's have 8,100 miles on em and they are almost brand new lookin.
not even close to half worn.
IMPORTANT thing is to rotate em every 3,000 mi. to be safe,,,,,,

225/40 are gonna look too big. Listen to the people that already have the tires, seems like 215/40 or 35 seem to be popular and well-liked choices. Don't go any lower than 215 though or your rims are gonna get dinged up not only from curbs, but just little rocks coming up from the road. My friend has 205's on his 7.5 wide rims and his rims are all jacked up on the edges from rocks...
