dubz01si 10-26-2004 06:42 PM

i guess whoever does it obviously aint the busted ones :D
im still very carefull though... im getting my winter car on the raod so i dont really want to spend money on the 7th gen this year so if i can hold it off Great!

I don't see the problem if it's just the bumper cover. There is a pink civic in mississauga that has no rear bumper for a few months now. See it every day.

wrussi 10-26-2004 07:44 PM

it looks like u crashed or something

4drcivic2k1 10-26-2004 08:06 PM

I think it's illegal to drive without a front bumper where I live...but I could be mistaken.

nindoo 10-26-2004 08:09 PM

I've seen a dude in Montreal, With a dx coupe black with the paint fadded so that the finish is flat and the tires are bald and the dude doesn't have a front bumper cover. I also saw the dude drive his car and he rips the crap out of it.

CiViCPrAnInG2k1 10-26-2004 08:13 PM

why u driving w/o a front bumper???

Changu-San 10-26-2004 08:14 PM

i think its illegal to drive without a front bumper period, because it reduces the momentum if you crash...thus if you dont have one and get into an accident you're screwed.

nindoo 10-26-2004 08:14 PM

I think he might have broken it. His car had a lot of small dents to. Really shitty appearance, I never seen such an abused 7th gen.

Here in cali, you could get a ticket for it.... I dunno if that helps you, so why are u missing your front bumper anyways?

exclusive_vtec 10-26-2004 10:46 PM

lol thats ghetto

rijowysock 10-26-2004 11:19 PM

ITS ILLEGAL TO DRIVE W/O A BUMPER... BUT.. THEY DONT CALL THE PLASTIC PART A BUMPER. they consider the metal peice in front and rear the bumper. as long as u have that. and tape on the foam peice its NOT ILLEGAL.

zachgeyer 10-26-2004 11:36 PM

big enuff

philliesblunt420 10-26-2004 11:55 PM

well its true.. the bumper cover is just a cosmetic piece the actual bumper is underneath.

rijowysock 10-27-2004 12:01 AM

Civic_Racer9 10-27-2004 12:52 AM

Alberta is the only province in Canada that it is LEGAL to not have a front license plate, otherwise it is illegal everywhere else in Canada with no plate in the front.

mradam85 10-28-2004 02:17 PM

tha cover is not considerd a bumper there for its legal to drive with no cover! atleast in the us. you should move here canada is dumb anyway! j/k

Quebec Dude.

Manitoba, at least when I lived there, did not have mandatory front license plates. I remember cause I bought a Winnipeg Zoo novelty plate for my mom's K-car.
