trunk - LOCK .. so why not a hood - LOCK !!??

i can understand that a trunk lock can be useful ... but why not make a hood lock ??.

probably because it requires a lot of dedication and time to steal your engine from under the your hood, whereas ppl keep a lot of valuables in their trunk. No one just walks up to a parked car and walks off with the engine....you steal the whole car, take the engine and ditch the car....and with ppl that dedicated a little lock wont do anything.

i think i called for that to come ... heheheheh ...

i was just saying ... to protect aftermarket engine parts like an intake and header .... i doubt manufacturers look at that aspect though .... just stoopid me i guess !!...

Hey if some guy walked up to my car and walked off with my engine, then I am not going to be the guy to try and stop him.......... :)
