Fuel economy 1.8 Petrol

I've had my Civic since September last year and I'm averaging 38 mpg which isn't bad. Does anyone use their economy button?

That's about 31.6 per US gallon. My phone app tells me I'm at 31.7 mpg which is right around what I'm seeing in my non-SI 2010 sedan. Mostly highway driving and only 87 octane Ethanol blend (ie the cheap stuff). No "economy" button though on my car. But mine also isn't an SI.

I have a 2015 EX 1.8 and I leave my economy button on. I know this car is not a hot rod and I bought it for furl economy. I use regular top tier gas and i get 35.X in town and 40.X on the highway using cruise control if I keep it at 60 mph or lower. at 75 mph it drops to around 37.
