2018 Honda Civic Ex

I just bought the 2018 honda civic ex sedan, dont ask why i didnt buy the ex-turbo for a couple hundred more. I dont know much about cars, but could anyone give me advice. Can i simply put a turbocharger in it, would it require an entire engine swap? Or would i need to change just a couple things with this engine? Wanting to up the horsepower and cant find anything related to this topic. Anyone got any ideas on what my options are? 👍

Do you want to risk any warranty issues down the road?

Best thing is trade it in and get what you want!

My plan was too lease for 3yr, then get it on a loan. I would tune it down the road but... I dont mind voiding the warrenty. I just want to know if its worth the money, the step up trim was literally like $500 more, im just stuck in a 3 yr lease, Id tune it after that

Well to boost it your looking at like $3650-$4000 if you do the labor yourself.

-rods $500
-pistons $500
-ecu $700
-ecu harness $100
-injectors $100
-intercooler $150
-bov $100
-waste gate $100
-exhaust system $500
-turbo manifold $200
-turbocharger $500
-piping $100
-fuel pump $100

-plus the random small stuff like mounts, plugs, boost gauge, injector pigtails... and don't forget the tune.
