they're the Honda FP wheels and they're very nice. Just so rare to find for sale at a dealer seperate from the performance package.

another shot.

I know Greg was trying to get the wheels w/o the FP stuff. Maybe he's finally found a source.

AR 07-06-2003 11:26 PM

we've talked like a month ago about them. he said he'd keep me posted. otherwise, no he can't get his hands on them. :(

thanks for lookin' out :)

InanimateCarbonRod 07-07-2003 02:24 AM

yah, I like those wheels myself. They are kind of similar to my 5zigen Fighters.

Huh_Oh Sh*t! 07-07-2003 03:13 PM

wow, if the wheels are available without the package i would wanna get them. what size are they?

JDog2001CivicEX 07-07-2003 04:36 PM

Check Honda of Lisle, in Lisle, IL .

The salesman there told me that he could get just the wheels for me, but they are expensive

Huh_Oh Sh*t! 07-08-2003 11:37 AM

how expensive?

AR 07-08-2003 05:18 PM

they're 16"

honda of lisle eh? i'm on it.

Deception2k1civic 07-09-2003 12:42 AM

keep us informed AR.

HomerSimpson 07-09-2003 09:56 AM

AR if you can get them let us know how much, those are pretty sweet

WannaBFast 07-11-2003 03:23 AM

they are pretty much the same as the optional accord v6 rims... or was it the normal ones with 5 lugs.. i forget... but i think the price is like $250-300/rim

AR 07-11-2003 12:43 PM

looks like alot of money.

i have talked to a couple dealers in the area. some said that they don't make them (--which is bs), others said that they don't carry them "yet". i have not got in touch with the lisle location yet. i have spoke to member on the boards who said he can look into them for me since he has a sponsorship with his dealer for his car. i don't want to stress him or fully rely on him though, cause i know it would be a shitload on his back to take care of.

lastly, i am hoping these wheels are light. honda calling the package factory performance, i pray they're going to let form follow funtion. if they're not considerably light enough, i'll forget about them. anyone know the weight of them? i have looked around. maybe i should ask the dealers that too huh? alright, i'm done babbling.

JDog2001CivicEX 07-11-2003 01:02 PM

Trust me the are not light, they are heavy. The felt really heavy when I was getting my car serviced at HOL and they had them out on display, just the rims, no tires. Man they were friggin heavy. But there could have been somthing done to make them heavier, i hope there was otherwise my steels would be better

AR 07-13-2003 01:58 AM

maybe not worth the effort huh?

THEANTIRICEST 07-17-2003 06:01 PM

I'd have a hard time paying $250 a wheel for OEM wheels....but they are still badass, does anyone know exactly how much they weight? 25lbs? 30lbs?
