HID installation on 2002 4 door civic

I went to the Sylvania website and my headlights are 9003/HB2
http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProd...RG-Results.htm
My friend told me to get HID kits from DDMtuning.com, this is my first car mod other than my stereo and sub, so I am unsure of what parts to get or what I need.
http://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/DD...ast-35W-or-55W
I am going to get the 55w 10K lights, but do I need to purchase the hid harness, error eliminator, or adaptor cables? (see website) any help would be appreciated, thanks!

If u get 55w you NEED a hid wiring harness. that's about it

And I don't suggest you get higher than 6000k

And are u planning to put this hid kit on stock headlights?

Sorry to steal this post but I just purchased the 55w slim ballast 3000k hid kit from ddm tuning for a 2002 4 door civic. On their website they say nothing about running a harness or needing one. I haven't begun the installation. I figured I would install them tomorrow and see if they flutter then I would get the $15 harness off of ddm tuning if they did. I just saw on their website that it was optional and they didn't say if I needed it or not when I ordered it. I guess I will find out tomorrow but if anybody can save me the time or knows how the HID kit functions without the harness I would appreciate it. It looks like from their instructions that you don't need it for 55w at all for my car.

Installed the ddm tuning slim ballast 3000K 55w HID kit today. Took about 10 min. maybe more depending on how you mount your ballasts. You don't need anything but the ballasts and the lights. No harness was needed for mine. If you order them from ddm tuning this is what you will need to choose: 35 or 55 Watt. Bulb Type H4/HB2/9003 Hi/Lo so you can run high beams and low beams. Then whatever temp you want. I recommend 3000k it is good for fog and everything else. Anything over 6000k is over kill in color and doesn't really help you see better. Then ddm tuning will ask if you want the HID harness, error eliminator, and adaptor cables. You don't need to order any of that it it is optional. They should be plug and play and are super easy almost idiot proof. If took no time to install. Mount your ballasts in a place where they won't get wet.

the problem with 55w ballasts are that they require a higher startup amp. so under heavy load, ur stock wiring cannot handle them. you also run the chance of shorting your stock wires and electrical system from the initial massive power draw

if you use DDM wiring harness ditch the relay that comes with it its cheap chinese crap you can get a japanese or american msde one at most auto parts stores for around6 bucks make sure its sealed and water proof.
