Replacing Rack & pinion in 95 civic ?

What is involved in taking the Rack out on a 95 civic w/power steering?

I got the steering gear clamp in the footwell loose, how do you get the shift linkage spring clip out?
TIA

Well I wish someone with some more knowledge of this would reply. My left side steering rod is loose inside and causes a shake over 75 mph. Bad enuff that I wore a tire to the stell cords in a matter of weeks

You've posted to a 7 year old, completely dead thread. Start a new one of your own where more people might see it.

Nobody here but you has any clue what kind of car you are dealing with.
Include all car info in the first post.
Year, model, trim level, body style, engine, what country you are in, etc.
