Cooling fan will not shut off I hope someone will help me out with this one. I have a 1993 handa civic with a b16a1. the cooling fan will not turn off when the car is running. I have pulled out the relay to the fan and the fan dose turn off just fine. It's the middle of winter now I think it's time to fix it help plz |
Re: Cooling fan will not shut off Locate the thermo-switch that controls the radiator fan, unplug it and see if the fan shuts off. If the engine is a transplant, someone may have just wired it to run the fan continuously. Side note, You are in AZ, and you have a car with a European engine? From Wiki: B16A1
Fan switch could be in the thermostat housing, could be on the back of the block above the oil filter area, might be someplace else IDK. |
