95 SI hatchy, speedometer issue.please help!!
 

does anybody know what could be causing my speedo, to jump from 0 to 40mph,it wont go past 40mph, when i do a complet dead stop it drops to 0 again, i just bought a new speed sensor, but that didnt help, ive also checked all of the wiring, but that checks out to, maybe the speedo its self is out? any help would be greatly appreciated!!! thanks

Go to the junkyard and get a speedo out of a salvage vehicle. Pick and Pull is the cheapest- if you have one near and can find the parts you want.
