I have a 2000 ex and I had 17" inch verde rims with toyo 205/45r17 tires on and I had rub with a 2" tein s-type drop. it would rub constantly over bumps and in turns. The 205/45r17 wont mess your spedo up thats why I used them. If I was you go with a 15" inch with a 175 or 185/55 tire and your 2" drop will look the best. Honestly play it safe my firend. Good Luck!

You'll need to run smaller tires for 17s, 45 profile is to large for 17s. I would recommend you use 195/35r17 or 205/35r17. You'll need to run with 30-35 profile tires with 17s to not rub. I run 195/40r16 on my 16x8.25 with 3.5in plus drop, 175 is to thin stock 15in tire size that Come on the SI model are 195/55r15.
