8, 4, or 2 Ohm

My friend is getting 3 JL W3's for his S-10 and will be running them off a 1,000 watt Crossfire amp for the time being. He needs to know what Ohm sub should he get if he wants to get max performance running them off just that one amp.

arent all JLs dual 3 ohm? or was that just w6s..

do you know the exact specs on the crossfire amp and what ohm its stable at? or atleast know the model number

vnilman. w0's i believe are 4 ohm svc's. w3's come in dual 2 ohm, dual 4 ohm, and dual 6 ohm, w3v2's come in dual 4 ohm and dual 2 ohm. w6's were dual 3 or 6, cant remember, forgot about the w6v2's, 8, 10, and 12w7 some in single 3 ohm, and 13w7 is dual 1.5 ohm....

:D

If they come in dual 6 ohms then get those. The 1000 watt crossfire amp is 1 ohm mono stable and 3 dual 6 ohm wired in parallel are 1 ohm and would be pullin maximum power.
