Vafc?? Vafc2??

People say online that you need a VAFC2 for an headswap. I just bought a VAFC not a VAFC2. Would it still work?

As long as you have something to control vtec.

Idk if you know "Gearbox"? I read some of his forums and he said specifically "VAFC1 does not work on our cars 01-04" "CEL will stay on and won't be able to rev past 4k"

Tbh I'm not even sure what to believe. I can't even find a good thread that gives me a walkthrough. Every three I find is pretty unclear
