Another footwell lighting civic noob Hey, I'm new to the civic forum and am trying to find a way to wire in my footwell lights in my girlfriend's 2001 civic, I am not familiar with Honda but am trying to tap into a power source like the heater button light so that way it has a constant flow of electricity while the headlight are on along with all the dash lights Can anyone tell me what wire to tap in? |
Re: Another footwell lighting civic noob Use the 12v aux( cig lighter) for the power. It's easy to access |
Re: Another footwell lighting civic noob The cig lighter would make the lights stay on as long as the key was turned. Are you using a relay or do you know how much current they draw? You could tap into the heater button lights or parking lights. You can tap into the parking lights down on the left side of the drivers footwell. There is a orange plug that has it, but I'd have to check what the wire color is. |
