Amplifier Power Cable Through Firewall...HELP

Where the hell can I run this through the firewall? I found a grommet on the passenger side right in the center of the footwell, ran a hanger through, and couldn't find the damn thing. Every other hole looks pretty tight...any thoughts/suggestions? Pics would be greatly appreciated. I searched the DIY's and couldn't find anything, so I'm hoping someone can bail my ass out. Oh yeah, I have an '03 sedan LX.

remove the plastic panel over feet & glove box, and you will see the wire, it will be deep in there

i went through in the passenger seat footwell right next to the center console, its back up in there, theres a grommet that i cut a slit in with a razor blade and had a friend feed it through from the engine compartment, it was quite a bitch, but it worked after like 10 minutes of struggling. 2 gauge wire is ****in huge.

Thanks all. I don't doubt I didn't search hard enough, but I did search, and when I couldn't find what i needed, I gave up. I ended up removing the glove compartment and I found a huge bundle of wires behind it going through a grommet that I threaded my 4 ga. wire through. Zepp, I feel your pain. Anyway, since I had such a hard time w/ it, I decided to take pics which I'll post later so no one has to hunt for a f***in hole like I did.

in my 01 ex there were two options to go through one towards the top on the passengers side and another towards the very bottom. the one on top is the one i went through but it was no easy task. it ends up coming through behind the glove compartment area. it was a real struggle at first but once you get through the initial insertion its easy from then on. i use a coat hanger to get it through.

In my 01 EX there was not a hole cut out in the metal of the frame on the passenger side - I ended up routing mine through the drivers side main wire bundle.

chickens.
One drill, one step bit, and a little luck and youve got yourself a perfect hole in the firewall to run a cable

^^ what he said. Easy as can be. Just dont hit any wires!

I actually routed mine behind the glove box, through the passenger fenderwell, then up into the engine compartment -- it's the cable route for the foglight wiring. No holes to drill, no boots to slit. My 4ga. wire fits fine, but I'm not sure if 2ga. would.

I used the grommet on the passenger side that's closer to the center console. Shoved some needle-nose pilers going inside-out and poked myself a little hole on the engine side. I wasted enough time trying to fish 4AWG wire through! :)

A lot of people have said it's easier to go through the grommet that's behind the glove compartment. But I'm lazy.

just don't hit any wires....

uh huh, and if you do you're screwed. Not so easy when you think of the limited space you have to work in and the particulars of drilling.

if you look real hard behind the intake there will be a BLUE PLUG pull it! And your in... THATS IT! You could probly fit Zero Gauge through it! Hope this helps!
