Since I already have an aftermarket head unit installed, is it easier to remove it?
 

or is the difficulty level still the same as removing OEM? i want to purchase a new aftermarket head unit to replace my sony.

you have to do the same thing unless you have the removal tools that just slide the unit out but your gonna have to take the dash off again to rewire.

alright... here goes nothing. if i can replace my door lock actuator, i'm sure i can do this.

it isnt hard at all a couple screw and a few pops of the dash and your pretty much done

no way, slide the deck out of the cage, pull the harness out enough till you can unclip it, squash the cage down enough so you can pull it through the opening. Dont even need a drill or anything.

true but i like my knuckles without all the cuts trying to reach in and unclip it

please, your not a true installer until your hands look like youve been in a fight every day. I dont even notice them anymore.
